Ken Paxton (Texas AG) is pretty tough on this stuff, but in the end he's an attorney. Court is his playground. The governor is the one that controls police and military forces, but he's a paper pusher and would never actually do anything. Local sheriffs can and have, but not in a place like Austin where they have a Democrat woman sheriff.
My personal experience in Texas, the leftist-run shitholes go full draconian with their restrictions and enforcement and the rest of the state is normal. Except magic face panties, you still see those in a lot of places. But get out of the city and no one gives a shit if you're actually wearing them.
