Hell, no one even assassinated him.

They learned after Kennedy not to make martyrs. It's hard not to call what's happened to him anything but character assassination, though.

I don't agree that Kennedy was assassinated by anybody but Oswald.

His death didn't upset LBJ, it was super beneficial. But that doesn't mean he arranged it.
