It's a day old and already posted on relevant sites, but it's probably good to post here in case some haven't seen it:

Key points:
- Game was never planned for Sony
- Xbox version was cancelled at the last moment
- Reason was censorship
None of this surprises me nor, I imagine, most if not all of you, but it does run counter-narrative to some insane comments that I had seen before about how Microsoft would bizarrely turn a new leaf in order to court the Japanese market.
Also, I've never played Gal*Gun before but have had Gal*Gun 2 installed for over 2 years now. I'll probably give it a try in the mid future.
I wonder how that will go down. Every time I say something nice about them everyone hates me.
I don't disagree, but so far there hasn't been such absolute junk as there is on Steam on the Microsoft Store. We haven't got Unity asset flips and stupid jigsaw puzzle games with stolen art yet. Those only make it to the W10 store.
Er. I don't think he was praising Epic. It was a backhanded jab at their restrictions.
This retard can't tell fiction from reality you expect him to understand figures of speech?
As Eltrion said, and you know since I laid it on pretty thick, it was a back-handed comment since I prefer consumer choice but it's also true.
People get too vitriolic about Epic and vice-versa. They're a scummy company but it's undeniable that Epic has some positives. If you want a curated storefront, they deliver in that regard. If you want free games but are too cowardly to pirate, then it's on the table for now.
Steam's monopoly is not a good thing as a consumer. It's just that non-mainstream competition is required since Valve, Microsoft, Epic, etc., share the same regressive ideologies among some if not most of their employee base.
