You might ask yourself "what does this have to do with politics?" but discussion of terrible ghetto cooking trends like "pour sugar into the koolaid until its like a soup" would probably get me banned on a lefty site.
I love this r/blackpeoplecooking shit. It's so disgusting and I can't stop laughing at it. Obviously the entire species doesn't cook like this but the ones who do are funny.
"white people don't season their food" my ass. Maybe not to the standards of people I thought Boondocks made up when I was a kid.
No, but I have seen black women wash meat with dishsoap before cooking it. It’s a weird racial pandemic like cornstarch eating.
Fucking whaaaaaat? Lmao
Sorry, the first thing that makes me think of is MovieBob's chicken with a 3-day Mountain Dew marinade, and MovieBob is white.
It's no marinade, but basically any soda is great for cooking a pork butt. As long as it's a regular sugary kind, just let a pork butt cook in a crock pot for a good chunk of the day in a can of soda, and once it's done, goddamn, does that stuff fall off the bone! I know I've already done this with Dr. Pepper knockoffs myself, it's not like the soda's flavor actually gets kept. If you've never done that before, you should give it a try; there's nothing like homemade pulled pork. Add some pepper and onion, make it a Philly.
Fuck it I'll try anything once. What drink should I use?
Like I said, ANY soda will work, as long as it's not diet/zero-calorie. Apparently the sugar is the important part of getting it to cook right.
Not where it counts but holy shit you weren't kidding.
Is baking a lost art?
I think cooking is a lost art. If another woman laughs and tells me "I don't know how to cook!" as a cute and quirky "thing" I am going to scream.
It's not cute, it's a basic life skill and I'm neither rich enough nor willing to take you out literally every night. Go away.
I like women but dating them is a pain because so many of them are like that about everything. "haha i dont clean after myself or communicate. Mommy and Daddy babied me forever."
