"politics and social issues will be disallowed" always translates into "politics and social issues the moderators/admins disagree with are disallowed"
Neutrality is a relic of a more naive past just like cockpit tours on commercial flights.
The left weaponized basic politeness to push their agenda. They see every deference to "decency" as wedge they can use for subversion. The solution is to harden our hearts and stop giving the benefit of the doubt. Win first, regain our humanity later.
Yup. If I can't call out the latest AAA garbage for leftist virtue signaling, or mock the latest indie darling for pushing communism, then I'm not posting there.
