shouldn't the taiwanese side be making the decisions here not the china side?(since asus is a taiwanese company) sounds like they need to cut out the china branch and it is really dumb why the japan branch thinks they should listen to the china branch.

IIRC Hololive vtuber Coco once showed a youtube engagement screenshot of her channel. It had a Taiwanese flag on it.
Chinese mad. Demand Hololive company to "recognize One China policy" "Taiwan is province of China" as otherwise it's "hatred of Chinese." Or some wumao shit.
Coco got temp banned from streaming to placate Chinese, but no statement cause company is non-political and milquetoast.

chinese got angry with a hololive JP member coco mentioning taiwan once (to the point that hololive CN branch had to be scraped) and they have been holding a grudge ever since(even after hololive had suspended her for a few weeks but chinese wanted her gone completely
I can't believe the Chinese internet warriors are STILL holding a grudge about this. From what I understand, all that happened was one of the Hololive girls mentioned Taiwan, not even in a positive light, just neutrally. It makes me feel like I'm missing something deeper about the political implications here. What did Clover corp do to piss the Chinese off so badly?

Hololive did have a strong fanbase by streaming on BilliBilli though, they might feel betrayed - by a picture of a Taiwan flag.
