I think that thinking of it in those terms is the wrong mentality.
While I have my opinions on the outcome, I'm looking at the longer game. A Trump reelection wouldn't defeat the left. But Biden presidency may just kill the Democratic party.
I've been watching the Democrats flirt with disaster for thirty years, ever since they played a bait & switch with the far left by tapping Al Gore as VP. They know they need the progressives, but they also know that the progressive wing cannot win elections.
In 2022, the Democrats WILL lose the house. This much is set in stone, the redistricting is going to crush them. How they'll do in the Senate is less clear, as there are vulnerable seats on both sides of that class.
The Biden administration will not achieve anything of note. Even if they picked up the Senate, they won't expand the court. The party might be that stupid but the individual senators aren't.
It's a nice rallying cry to say that they would, but the likelihood of it actually happening is zero.
With the brazen rigging they pulled off in this election, and the lack of punishment for it, I genuinely doubt that the establishment would lose the midterms.
They'll try to cheat, but it won't be enough. Sad thing is, this situation is entirely the result of Covid, a veritable act of God that the Democrats exploited as much as possible. 2020 was a singular moment in history they took advantage of, but politics is not static. Come 2022, with Covid being an unpleasant memory by then, they won't be able to abuse mail in ballots like they did in 2020.
It's just so damn unfortunate that of all the years Covid had to come along, it was 2020.
I disagree completely. It’s possible, although unlikely, that the virus “got out” on accident in China. However, everything that happened after it did was 100% planned for political means. This was no act of god. It was an act of the globalists.

It was an act of God.
One the establishment took ruthless advantage of.
