We had one (Tilted Kilt) here, the waitresses didn't even dress in any way more outrageous than anywhere else (and certainly not even like in the picture above). Dunno why it went out of business, but it didn't seem to be ever that busy. Food wasn't bad, I guess, but I only went once.
It's a Popeye's Chicken now; I have a feeling it'll do much better.
I don't consider something like that a "titty bar" if the titties are covered.
The place I'm from is known for actual strip bars.
And I remember old people my great-grandparents' age complaining about how offensive it was to see women in men's kilt and sporrin gear.
That’s weird. In the place nearby here they do dress like that photo, pretty much. It’s supposed to be their “uniform”. Not so strange that they went out of business though. Twin Peaks even has special days when they wear bikinis, or similar skimpy clothing.
Well, in between Tilted Kilt and the chicken place, it was an East Indian food place for a couple of years. And before the Kilt, I think it was a sports bar, when we first moved here. It's been a few places.
