Given China's level of sophistication with disinformation campaigns put on display last year at the outset of WuFlu, it's hard to say whether or not this is a similar campaign to further agitate Trump supporters into escalating our current low intensity conflict. Certainly it would be in China's interest for the US to be in a state of civil war (which isn't to say one is or isn't justified), so I wouldn't put it past them.
Still whether it's disinformation or just plain honesty, it's interesting nevertheless.
China has stability issues at the moment, hence the Zemin faction billionaire dunking on Biden. The good news is that means elements of the CCP are aligned against Biden. The bad news is there is more chaos in the signal.
The other issue is the population being focused on foreign relations leaves them less focused on domestic issues. If they're concerned about conflict with China they aren't worried about the rampant corruption in our own government.
So it could also be classic Bill Clinton era Wag the Dog style distractioneering on the part of our own elites, with the only cost to them being some politicians who are already on their way out.
Why would they want US instability? They OWN the democrats and have since they financed Bill Clinton's campaign.
They want to keep exchanging the labor of their people for US dollars that are used buy expensive, high quality shit (made in other countries) for their ruling party members and grandiose displays flexing chinese "superiority" on the world stae.
They want to keep the subversion to current levels where their agents can neutralize anyone who publicly advocates for US self interest and keep democrats getting elected despite the party members being obviously anti american. Instability would make the US a worse trading partner.
Our military prevents them from dealing with domestic issues to the extent they want to (Taiwan, Hong Kong). If it were pre-occupied with fighting a civil war China wouldn't have to worry about it as much. Even puppets have to maintain the illusion of independence, and say "re-unifying" with Taiwan would be a step too far for even a puppet President.
Beyond that, as long as we're strong they still play second fiddle. Of course over time if they keep selling us stuff to build up their economy and stealing our technology to build up their military they will catch up, but if we fall off our pedestal they don't have to climb quite as much as they would otherwise.

Somewhere out there is a democrat trying to help a CCP agent attack Biden to hurt Trump.
