That definitely sounds like fan fiction, if CNN did run the story I'm sure they collaborated the story with the captain planet assembly of doctors right?
By the way this was the subject of one of Grey's Anatomy episodes. I unfortunately had to watch the early seasons with my wife, back when she was just my girlfriend. I would not be surprised if that scene had the same black+ asian + jewish team going on.
Edit: I looked it up and it was Season 4 Episode 9. It was the exact same thing with huge svastika on the chest but he had to have an operation and the black chick made an S out of it.
