I wish Boris would fight the globalists. He was supposed to be the British version of Trump, and he seemingly has failed at every step.

In retrospect, it was not at all likely that an Eton-educated elitist named Boris Alexander du Pfeffer Johnson would be a genuine man of the people.

But the illusion was nice while it lasted. Labour will probably win back the North, and the one chance the Conservatives had to base a coalition on patriotism and populism will be gone. Shame.
