If you had been telling yourself that the revolution would be in your lifetime, wouldn't you? If Trump accomplishes even half of his agenda that'll be their project set back by years.
I suspect what will happen is a total lack of law enforcement, with whomever's calling themselves Antifa allowed to turn cities into no-go areas unless you obviously and completely bend the knee, with a complicit media just stopping reporting on inner-city anarchist murders because it's no longer news or some equivalent excuse.
See, the problem is that this ideology simply doesn't know how to de-escalate ... it's not that the people a couple of layers back from the front lines cannot do so, I suspect, it's more that the lower-level muscle, the ones ideologically captured, have had their entire lives since university training them to attack, attack, attack. Per Alinsky, they believe to defend is to freeze yourself and that's specifically something they do to other people.
Part of the problem is that these guys are used to dealing with themselves, and they've spent a long time training themselves to defer to higher authority (yes, I know, the anarchists are training themselves in subservience. Ironic) ... but they do't recognise that most people will apply a sense test to higher authority and when higher authority stops making sense, they'll quietly make alternate arrangements. That's not what zealots like our anarchist friends do, they'll wind themselves up ever-tighter in their efforts to comply until something gives and you have another city in flames.
That's what confuses me. Fabians don't tell themselves that. They normally just say the exact opposite. That's why they are Fabians. One small step at a time.
Actually, I don't think that's going to happen. That's only there to get of, quite literally, you.
No one wants to abolish the police genuinely, not even Antifa. They want to be the police. The purpose of this anti-police sentiment is by the globalists to introduce their own privately contracted police agencies with Globalist created policies, agendas, standards, and enforcement procedures. They're trying to replace the police with a Globalist Corporate police forces. That's why they need regular cops out of the fucking way.
It's part of the "Strong Cities Network" policies on policing. They've already basically seized control over the Victoria Police in Australia, and it's why they are behaving so repressively.
And to be an angry libertarian for a moment. I'm okay with private policing... but that means that law enforcement isn't restricted to a government monopoly, and that, quite literally, the militia is a valid LE structure. That's not what SCN is doing. They're trying to be OmniCorp from RoboCop.
In fact, this is basically the plot of RoboCop.
I mostly agree, with the proviso of: once they've usurped the role of the police, judging by how CHAZ went, I can only assume they intend to do away with disgusting bourgeoisie concepts like "accountability".
It's not in the private army's interest to be held to account, nor is it in the interest of their corporate backers … and if they're also in control of the media, well, who's going to hear about the corporate police accidentally executing some kid?
Accountability will be extremely strict. The question is, to whom?
Hint: it's not the people.
Accidentally?
You might have been an American Cop for too long. Too many rigorous standards and actual requirements. There are places in this world where a cop will literally just blast a motherfucker. Hell, the West is the exception to the rule when it comes to bribing cops. Normally you have to bribe cops in other countries as a normal proceeding.
Everybody bitches about US police, but as I've said for 6 years: US police have never been this professional, well-trained, or accountable as they are now. It's not even close. Hell, back in the 70's, my family used to have to bribe both the cops and the mob for protection money... and the cops were on the mob's payroll! That's just bullshit.
Yes it was a heavily Democratic city. How did you know?
