I mostly agree, with the proviso of: once they've usurped the role of the police, judging by how CHAZ went, I can only assume they intend to do away with disgusting bourgeoisie concepts like "accountability".
It's not in the private army's interest to be held to account, nor is it in the interest of their corporate backers … and if they're also in control of the media, well, who's going to hear about the corporate police accidentally executing some kid?
Accountability will be extremely strict. The question is, to whom?
Hint: it's not the people.
Accidentally?
You might have been an American Cop for too long. Too many rigorous standards and actual requirements. There are places in this world where a cop will literally just blast a motherfucker. Hell, the West is the exception to the rule when it comes to bribing cops. Normally you have to bribe cops in other countries as a normal proceeding.
Everybody bitches about US police, but as I've said for 6 years: US police have never been this professional, well-trained, or accountable as they are now. It's not even close. Hell, back in the 70's, my family used to have to bribe both the cops and the mob for protection money... and the cops were on the mob's payroll! That's just bullshit.
Yes it was a heavily Democratic city. How did you know?
