In regards to the PC dealing. A lot of people would point out that they desexualized Jill. Specially in covering up her legs, which I think this leak proves that's what the devs were going for. Personality is another thing, where they made her a lot more aggressive, as if appealing to the "girl power" crowd. All the while toning down Carlos in regards to his flirting.
Back then, I didn't know why they cut out the clock tower section. With this leak, I have the feeling that they wanted to minimize the "damsel-in-distress" trope since Jill is injuried/infected while Carlos ends up saving her. Which is still in the remake, but shortened.
A shame about the remake as I was looking forward to it. I enjoy the franchise and feel that RE 3 is a bit underrated among the main series.
This is not as bad as what other companies are doing. I'm not a fan but is not full blown SJW. I may give RE 3 Remake a try.
I consider this type of actions as more SJW influenced rather then SJW themselves. But is the slippery slope.
On a parallel note, I thought the same about WoW BFA, SJW influenced but not SJW, until it came out that a lot of writers are racist and hate men.
