I'm sorry, did the man just claim a portion of the country hadn't figured out his skin color by November 2012, but when they did somewhere in the next four years they freaked out so badly that they voted for one old white person instead of the other?

According to his own "autobiography", yes, yes he is a junkie. That only began associating with blacks in graduate school because they had the good drugs.
