Children aren't fit to make these decisions. The government should decide for them

The sad thing is: There exist more than zero people that can hold both of these thoughts in their mind at the same time without experiencing any dissonance whatsoever. And some of them are in positions of power or worse (unelected idiots within the beaurocracy)
