My expectation is a group to oversee tech censorship that would eventually evolve to a social credit organization. I could see things like the companies working together to totally block out high profile "harmful" individuals, targeting notable free speech sites like here and others, and some AI/algorithmic attack on the low-profile plebs. They probably need to appear a little less heavy handed than they do now--basically giving the appearance of free speech but really not having any. The crazy heavy handed stuff comes later, right now the issue at hand is to give the happy appearance of a "normal" utopia. Hence, all the talk of unity and caring and crap.
