I recall Cocaine Mitch obstructing everything that Obama wanted.

As for common core, I am pretty sure that was decentralized and had nothing at all to do with Obama or the federal government. Didn't Jeb Bush back it?

Common core was was created by teacher unions and funded by the federal government to the tune of 4.4 billion, with the book contract handed to Obamas publisher parent company.
