So two weeks ago I asked what everyone was playing. (I'm not doing that again, because I had to add half a dozen titles to my backlog, you bastards).
This time, rather than ask what you're playing, I thought I'd see how you'll be gaming this weekend.
I'll kick off with my plan for tomorrow. A few months ago, I started playing Elder Scrolls Online. In an unusual move for me (I'm an antisocial sod), I joined a guild, and signed up for one of their group dungeon events. As a result, I ended up with a regular group of people who would meet up most days, grind dungeons for some gear, and generally have some laughs. However, life events began to get in the way, and we all got a bit burned out with the ESO grind. Most of us all quit ESO, and it got to the point where we were just exchanging the occasional group chat message.
Then, last weekend, we all managed to get online at the same time (No small matter when the group comes from Australia, the Phillipines, Ireland, England and the US). We ended up on RDR2 online, which a couple of us had never played before.
And it was a fucking blast.
Drinks were had, jokes were told, bounties were failed, hilarity ensued. I hadn't realised how much I had missed the guys until we were all together again, taking the absolute piss out of each other. So tomorrow we're meeting again in RDR2. Beer is in the fridge, snacks are on standby, and I fully expect to be crying with laughter again to the point that I can't actually grip the controller.
So my question again: What will you be doing this weekend to make the most of your gaming time?
Got Tropico 6 in the monthly humble bundle, so I might give that a try, unless I can get some of my friends online and playing Don't Starve Together, been hooked on that since we tried it on Halloween.
And I got my biweekly DnD game to run. Just kinda want to get this arc finished so I can see if people want to jump ship to another system. I'm realizing I hate 5e.
So copious amounts of drinking over voice chat, hopefully no real politics talk.
