So I live in Texas and I notice republicans are winning by smaller and smaller margins. I see Biden may win Georgia and once reliable red states are quickly turning purple. I’ll never understand why people move to these states and ruin them by voting for the policies that messed up their old states.
I predict in 10 or 20 years the GOP will just full embrace the “free stuff” movement.
We've lost Georgia, almost certain. I can't say why, I think as a society evolves they want more and more government in their lives, I can see why it is happening, life can be scary, there is a chance to fail that sometimes is not fair. One difference between left and right is that the right is happy for the left to have Callifornia and do what ever they want with it but the left is not happy if the right has a state where individual freedom is valued. Most of us just want to be left alone, without ideologies being pushed down our throats, without our rights being taken away "for our own good". The left seems to try to crush the right out of the ideological spectrum.
I wonder if a "major delta hub" might have something to do with all these states turning blue. It seems only states with them ever do!
As always, a single urban sprawl is basically enough to steal the entire rest of the state's votes.
It's clear to me that cities over a certain size should count to that cities states voting patterns. Instead, they should city-states, with their own representation and governance. Urban populations cannot be governed with rural populations, their needs and cultures are too dissimilar.
Poor getting poorer, leftist learn to code bs, decaying mismanaged leftist cities, an entire underclass of rentier wagecucks depending on leftist handouts. Vicious cycle.
