a Metropolitan Police spokesman has stated, "Officers were policing an assembly at speakers corner, Hyde Park on Sunday, 1 November. At 2.44pm a man aged in his 30’s was arrested under the coronavirus regulations by ... approximately a dozen uniformed police officers.

Nothing to see here, move along. Just applying the regulations equally to all citizens.

They are not citizens, so that's probably why. Police enforce laws on citizens but if you just jetty across the channel and take up residence for free, they won't touch you.
