Pronouns were meant to function as useful shorthand and abbreviations for people speaking about other people who are currently absent. Pronouns were not meant to function as ideological affirmations or ego validation for narcissistic weirdos.

If someone demands I use a pronoun other than he or she, I will simply use his or her full name. If that is deemed to be some sort of microaggression, I will then refuse to talk about him or her at all.
