I'm not exactly on the same side as u/Killroyomega , but these people are explicitly at war with us. There is literally nothing they won't stoop to. There is no lie too big. There is no compromise that is acceptable. There is no surrender that is abject enough. There is nothing that we can say, do, or even negotiate on. Absolutely nothing... and the anti-Left never set a single one of those as preconditions. Not one.
The Leftist activists have to be treated as nothing more than obstacles to be overcome. If there is absolutely no position they are prepared to relent on, then you need to just tell them ESAD, and push through. Make no apologies, make not requests, don't even make demands. Do not really acknowledge them or legitimize them at all. Just bulldoze them out of the way and build your parallel institutions directly through whatever they erected.
Until they make any effort at introspection or contrition, they must be given absolutely nothing. Not because they should be treated harshly, but only because there is no benefit to us to treat them with any kindness at all.
