I hate to ask a stupid question but with the ruling being about transwomen and biological women, are transmen and biological male covered under this ruling? I mean to me the ruling would imply that. But I've frequently noticed common sense and court rulings aren't always Venn Diagram
There is an episode in the new season titled "Hotel Reverie" The conceit of the episode is a studio is using a new holodeck like technology to remake an old movie. The movie they want to remake is Hotel Reverie about a British doctor and an affair he has with a woman during WW2.
The studio can't get a white male star to play the lead. So they hire a gay black woman to play the lead. So this gay black woman shows up and the generate the rest of the movie around this black woman. The real actress has to keep close to the original lines and movements or the simulation will shutdown, kinda like the Animus in Assassins Creed.
Anyway she ends up falling in love with her digital female co-star and causes it to become self aware. The program desyncs and shuts down.
I wonder what the episode is saying, if anything, about race and gender swaps in entertainment? I don't think Booker would be aganist it, if it's replacing white people, but it's interesting that by doing it, the technology is corrupted. Was it a case of the show being accidentally based? I guess one could argue the swap evolved the technology so it was a good thing? Did anyone else watch or have thoughts on this?
Is there anything these people don't invade? We have people advocating for women to fish?
