The video games for women would likely be far more profitable than the games for men BUT, the games for men would still be profitable. I think by trying to be equally inclusive of both genders, the end result is less profit in gaming to be had.

I think a lot of producers figured they could increase profit by cutting costs by only making 1 game targetting men and women equally but I think there's a significant untapped market for both men and women that would spend way more money if the games were designed entirely with only men or only women in mind.
