I have been a member of Reddit for a very long time, almost a decade. I had been trying to control my addiction to Reddit using browser addons like leech block. But what finally worked was their overt and shameless manipulation of The_Donald.
I cannot even participate in the US election, so you cannot say I left the site because of my feelings. Their blatant abuse made me feel disgusted.
Now I do not even visit subreddits that have nothing to do with politics like fitness. I see them only if I have to look for some information; otherwise, I do not give them the time of day.
