Our first "black" female VP candidate is half Indian. It took me 2 minutes on wikipedia to find out that that side (maternal) of her family was Brahmin.
On her "black" side, her father claimed that he was a descendent of the slave owner Hamilton Brown. Of course the narrative is that that ancestry is due to slave rape.
Politifact, in their fact check of the claim says:
Burnard, who wrote a book about Jamaican slave overseer Thomas Thistlewood, told us that if Kamala Harris’ father says he’s a descendant of Hamilton Brown, "I would be inclined to believe him."
It wouldn't be unusual for Harris to have "some slave owner heritage," Burnard said. "That would be extremely normal for members of Jamaica’s middle class, especially the educated elite, which is where Kamala Harris comes from."
So even if that were the case, it's clear her Jamaican background was privileged. As exemplified by the fact that her father was a professor of Economics at Stanford.
Then of course there's her record as a prosecutor which basically knocked her out of the primaries when Tulsi Gabbard called her on it during a debate.
She's literally the least black candidate conceivable.
