A whole bunch of reasonably well off folk who couldn't afford the rent in San Francisco moved to Portland to try and have the hippy, organic free life (Only cheaper).

Shops celebrating their African-American customers wouldn't see the irony that is celebrating their African-American customers. Events highlighting same sex relationships couldn't understand that celebrating male-female relationships is equally as valid. Transwomen were placed above ciswomen in their social hierarchies.

Calling out any of this was an attack on all of it and so brought in more parasites to soak up the safety of exploiting ignorant idiocy.

Now there is just vapid non-thinking entities who attack on command.
