Reddit is full of people celebrating his potential death. There are some who compare him to a mass murderer who killed 200k people on top of racist, fascist, nazi etc.
Apparently, if comments are to be trusted, there are people who go out to celebrate him getting Covid in Australia and Canada.
How in the world did people get so seriously unhinged? And how did the Trump is evil propaganda got so wide spread?

Remember though, some presidents ago, the right was anti-free-speech, anti video games, anti, with overreaching anti terrorism acts.
Shitheads will be drawn to whereever they think they can easily get power, currently that is in left wing politics.
If the dems lose critically hard, the scum will look for something else to infiltrate and subvert.
I often see this claim but do you have any evidence to back it up? Al Gore's wife was one of the main figures who went after video games and cried about 'muh children'. The anti-terrorism laws largely benefited from bipartisan support. There was also a lot left wing terrorism in the second half of the 20th century which has been deliberately forgotten and repainted as an issue of free speech.
The main figures of the 1990s video game violence hysteria were Al Gore, his wife Tipper Gore (see also: heavy metal and her spat with Dee Snider), Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden back when his brain was worth something; all of them democrats. I find it painful that this particular part of video game history has successfully managed to be rewritten to paint evangelical conservatives as the main villains of this saga as opposed to being secondary factions (ie. Jack Thompson and Pat Robertson weren't as successful in their efforts as they were made out to be).
Also, the USA PATRIOT Act which you were inferring to was passed with universal bipartisanship (only 1 person out of 100 in the entire US Senate voted no), similarly with the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014 passed under Obama (all 100 voted yes to its initial form, amendments to it passed 84-15).
