Indigenous Australian culture is literally a prehistoric, hunter-gatherer culture. How much of white Australian culture dates back to the Stone Age? Unless you treat them like zoo animals the loss of culture is inevitable as younger generations abandon the old ways.

Credit where it's due, they admit it was done with good intentions. Because there have always been severe problems with Indigenous Australian culture by modern standards, including a rate of confirmed child abuse 7.5 times higher than the general population.
