UPDATE: The two boys have been reinstated onto the team. School board press release below. It does not mention the massive national response to suspending them from the team, but does say they can play — and may still get disciplined by the coach for insubordination.

A good coach would have taken the hit himself by standing up to the imbeciles that decided this travesty of a rule.
