... Did Facebook just open themselves up to a fairly substantial lawsuit? Not a lawyer, obviously, but as far as I understand US law around this sort of thing they're asserting as falsehood as fact about a person who but for the thing they're lying about is not a public figure.

Seems like a potential libel lawsuit in the making (assuming, of course, that Rittenhouse gets a "not guilty" verdict).
