The biggest takeaway for me: most people will indefinitely give up all their liberties to the government without any resistance, up to and including indefinitely closing the businesses that feed their families. We see time and again examples where if hundreds or thousands of people defy the "orders" at once the government is powerless to do anything, yet the level of resistance is effectively zero even after 6 months.

This is the other thing I think about whenever I hear someone say "take your country back". What exactly am I taking back, and is it something I want to take back?
