Good. Police should tell these politicians to fuck off. If they think the rioters should be given free rein to do whatever they want to whoever they want, if they think their citizens don't deserve protection, and they want to defund the police, they don't deserve any goddamn protection for themselves. Remember, polies, cops are not legally obligated to help you.
