It pisses China off, but doesn't actually remove it from their control. We need to keep cutting faster.

Microsoft at least makes a bit of sense but walmart is a completely different sector
CCP needs their pipe into American media. Walmart needs to keep CCP happy and having two companies bid reduces the chances the justice department outright bans the propaganda pipe.
