I appreciate the condemnation, but I'd appreciate it a lot more if Polis would do something about the people ruining our downtown businesses. Ever since the "police use tear gas and non-lethal rounds against 'protestors'" he's been afraid to truly crack down on this BS. All it took was one round of fake headlines, and we've been hamstrung. These riots are predictable, and we need police protecting our businesses downtown before they get ransacked. We have so many real problems like a heroine epidemic, homeless encampments all over the city, gang violence in specific areas, etc, but Polis is too weak to crack down on it. Arrests after the fact are great, but how about stopping this nonsense in the first place? I just need to get out of here before we end up defunding the police in the wake of this bs.
