It ignores basically everything about human nature aside from empathy, fairness and indignation. Also ignores some people are just functionally retarded and won't understand or repress their pulsions for immediate satisfaction, a majority of people in some cases we are forbidden to talk about in polite society.
You can't have a functional socio-economic paradigm that ignores humans are also guided by superstitions, traditions, guilt, shame, spirituality, envy, tribal/racial kindship, desire for recognition and achievement on and individual and trial/national levels, competition, anger, destructive pulsions, reproduction, etc.
Western societies seem stuck in a neurotic paradox where they throw their traditions, history and spirituality in the woodchipper, deny reproduction is a necessity for existence, etc... For their own founding-block population, but recognize it for foreigners, especially those they import en-masse to replace their founding populations shrinking at 30% per generation.
A subspecies with that generational population shrinking over multiple generations would be classed as endangered. Most Western nations are now at that point.
