I remember this brave&strong. Wasn't her big thing that she demanded women be given 'more feminine' prison uniforms.
I remember feminists lauding her as a champion of prison reform and on looking into it, the unspeakable suffering she was subjected to was having to wear a boxy uniform.
Right now, in some federal prison a 110lb. 19 year old dude is getting passed around the prison block like the corona virus at a peaceful protest, but at least he doesn't have to wear an unflattering uniform.
