I bet once you play the game that the story will probably be incredibly sympathetic to the communist ideals, with the twist being that the capitalists were the bad guys all along.

I don't think so. In a previous Black ops game they showed a Soviet Gulag and they are generally pretty scathing towards socialist/communist regimes and very pro-west.
