Answer: because medicine and engineering have the least room for your bullshit. You can hollow out an arts student and fill her brain with seditious propaganda and nothing will happen; try to do the same to a doctor and people will die.

That’s what they’re trying to do in Medical Schools. Modern adcoms are focusing less on hard science backgrounds and focusing more on the humanities.
