My criticism of this documentary is their proposed "solution". To try to use Maine as an example of what to do while ignoring the obvious demographic differences (both in current population and population trends, given the large number of people migrating to Seattle vs. Maine) is foolish.
They can't get out of the standard leftist mindset that this is an unavoidable problem that requires a solution that accepts that the problem is unavoidable, instead of trying to find a solution that avoids the problem itself.
That said, I am familiar with this area, and it is a surprisingly honest description of the problem considering it comes from a mainstream source. And if you catch a Seattle leftist in the right mood and thinking they are among friends, even they will acknowledge that something is terribly wrong in the city (though they will have no idea how to solve the problem and declare any solution you propose "fascism").
I came across this a few days ago while I was researching the city after everything that's been happening. It's a little dated now and pretty long, but for someone who knew little about the depth of Seattle's problems, it was eye opening.
