Why would anyone pretend she would not be president soon if they won?

I guess to keep up the image that biden isn't sick.

It would look bad if they changed horses now, given that Biden doesn't seem any worse than he did six months ago.

I mean, he looks terrible, but that's no worse than six months ago.
