The IDF & Mossad are capable of causing absolute havoc to all of Israel's neighbors. The US hasn't needed to step in to Israeli wars. None of them have managed to even last 5 years.
If this were a Hearts Of Iron game, sure, Israel would be screwed if you were playing as the Hafez al-Assad. But the world isn't like that. Furthermore, you couldn't even convince countries not to step in because Israel is an economic powerhouse.
