Man, i waited to play this game on PC. After some hours of it left a bad taste in my mouth. -All that diversity in the tribe, people would have mixed by now. -Apart from her father figure all the man in first quests are weak, and their daughter, wife is a the dominant. Will this get better or worse?

It’s an okay game. It suffers a bit from PlayStation exclusive disorder, where it can be repetitive and got more hype than it deserves, but it is a fun game. The story is very good, but does suffer from a small amount of “woke”, but like some others have said it might just be that we are at a point where it is easy to see such things. Some of the characters stories are “progressive,” but it’s done more in a subtle, not extremely heavy handed way. Aloy’s character has some problems that are spoiler related so I won’t go into them, but they were more main character related than gender related. There is a big emphasis on gender in the narrative, but again it is a bit more subtle than most other modern content. The DLC is pretty much more of the main game so unless you either really enjoy the gameplay, or got it with the purchase, I don’t personally recommend it. Overall it is a pretty good game that has some progressive themes, but does a good job at exploring them without being heavy into modern politics. It’s one of those games that in my opinion does a pretty good job at what it is trying to do, but again suffers from some repetitiveness. I enjoyed it enough to get the Platinum trophy.
