Commies want everything to be about politics. They are basically the same as radical Christians who are working to bring about judgement day, and other accelerationists.

The commie judgement day is the "glorious revolution". They are trying to bring it about by forcing everything to be about politics thus forcing everyone to pick a side. Once everyone has picked a side the war goes hot because there is no longer any resistance to it not.

And just like the radical Christians the commies think they will come on top.
