"I'm an attractive woman and when I act like a bitch in a relationship they leave."
"That's totally an abusive relationship, all men are trash and you should kill them." - Twitter.
Same, something innocuous too like forgetting to take out the trash that she subtly left in its usual place but open.... somehow signalling that it’s ready for removal.... I’m not gonna see the signal if I’m never in the kitchen now am I???
Why cant women just ask?
That's simply untrue. The most successful people are those who thrive upon challenge.
For a number of years I was casually dating someone that I found both extremely attractive (solid 11/10) and personally very interesting. The deal breaker for me was that she would make excuses for every bad habit that I had, trying to make life as easy as absolutely possible for me. I need someone who will encourage my best qualities, and discourage my worst, so that our relationship can help me grow to become a better person. I need someone who can challenge me.
It's perfectly fine if that's not the kind of person you're interested in, there are vastly more women around who won't challenge you. Don't go around insisting that someone must want to date people like you in order to be a good person though.
I'll bite.
Which of the ideas that she presented do you find to be unreasonable challenges?
Nail on the fucking head
My father taught me that when looking for a partner, try to find a woman that YOU find attractive, not a woman that everyone finds attractive. The reason why is that women that have always had the attention of all men all the time are high maintenance and will drop you like an empty pack of zanex for someone they find more attractive
I realized as I got older, how much of it is make up and hair too. Is "the girl" really worth it from that perspective, when she is only that, because she never goes without doing herself up every day.
Oh for sure, which is why you should never trust a woman who doesn’t take off her makeup in front of you. If a woman can’t even be THAT honest with you then it isn’t worth it
When I was school age I ignored other girls completely, because it hadn't fully occurred to me the tricks the every day made up ones were playing.
