We need to figure out how to abstract and modernize the concept of the "family farm". Most people don't farm anymore, and enough people don't even own the home they live in that a physical "farm" doesn't make sense anymore, but I think we need to encourage families have some sort of "family communal property" (be that a bank account or investment assets or a family business or what have you) under control of the elder members of the family that can be drawn upon as temporarily assistance for members of that family in need and added to in times of plenty.
The average family is far more atomized than say the Rockefellers or the Rothschilds or even Royal families going back further in time. Maybe that shouldn't be the case.

You don't. But hopefully you trust your family (or at least know your family well enough to know who not to trust and why you don't trust them).
Well my parents maybe. My brothers are complete idiots that have no idea of anything, just consuming.
What then, this society is so fucked up, I've been on my own for nearly 10 years now after leaving school which was a shitty violent multicultural hellhole.
