Elon's idea of a family is obviously doomed. So are all the other wacky sci fi schemes for raising kids like normalizing multiple parents or abducting children to Spartan boot camp or whatever. It's a godless LARP of the books he grew up reading. The tragic consequences are already apparent even at this early date.
