The old sceptic in me would think that it's to get people used to new systems of microtransaction and have them pump up their characters and accounts for some sort of crossover badge and merit scheme which they can show off once the new game comes out.
New relatively young cynic in me is wondering how much of the storyline will they play around with to line up with the new Sweet Baby Inc and Silverstring Media approved agenda that will be the backbone of GTA VI.
Could be nothing, could be everything, probably be something in the middle. But keep an eye out come March 4th for people noticing changes in San Andreas and how that might align with the next iteration of the franchise.
With an all new singing and dancing GTA VI lined up to come out this year why have Rockstar touched up their 12 year old game for players to enjoy?
