Frontlines is pretty rad. The arc of the series and the technology from human warfare focused to countering the alien threat is fun.

While waiting for book 8 I think I tried some of his other stuff. Palladium wars is pretty good as well.

Alternatively, Expeditionary Force and the Bobiverse are both good.
